Chocolate pudding with gelatin


  • 0,5 l milk
  • 0,5 l cream
  • 50 g cocoa powder (5 level tablespoons)
  • 150 g sugar (approximately 10 level tablespoons)
  • Vanilla pod
  • 20 g gelatin


Bring the milk with the vanilla pod to the boil. Mix the sugar with the cocoa powder and add some of the hot milk to make a liquid mixture. Dissolve the gelatin in some hot water. Add the cocoa mixture to the boiling milk, take the pan off the heat and add the dissolved gelatin. Remove the vanilla pod and pour the mixture in a pudding mold that has been rinsed with cold water. Stir the pudding from time to time, until the pudding becomes gelatinous and the gelatin stops sinking to the bottom. Allow the pudding to set completely and serve it with a vanilla sauce or some whipped cream with sugar and vanilla.
